Bolton Abbey

Winter

Looking towards Addingham in the Wharfe valley.

A walk to Bolton Abbey is around seven miles along the river Wharfe. Bolton Abbey makes a great destination with the ruins of the old monastery and a few nice cafe’s around the village of Bolton Abbey. This walk to Bolton Abbey includes part of the Dales way so is well signposted.

Another great walk is on to Ilkley Moor (Rombalds Moor) The heather is in full flower here.
